Our copper is C110: 99.9% pure electrolytic copper, the grade you want for electrical work. Flat bar leads the section because it's bus bar stock: battery banks, grounding, panel work, solar and EV projects. Round bar covers electrodes and machined contacts; sheet handles flashing, lining, and art.

Bright, then brown, then, after years outside, that green patina. Indoors it mostly settles at a warm brown. Want the shine to stay? Polish and lacquer. Want the aged look? Just wait, or look up patina solutions to hurry it along. Either way it never red-rusts, which is why roofers and artists keep choosing it.

It's soft but gummy. It bends and forms beautifully, and it work-hardens as you go, so anneal it if a piece starts fighting back. On the lathe, use sharp tools and slow down; if the part is mostly machining, C360 brass will treat you better. Cutting, drilling, and soldering are all easy days.
