Shipping policy

At Metals 'R' Us Limited, we are committed to providing fast and reliable shipping. We strive to ship most orders by the next business day, ensuring you receive your materials as quickly as possible.

Processing & Shipping Timelines

  • Orders placed before 1:00 PM Atlantic Time (Halifax) on a business day are eligible for next business day shipping/pick-up. 
  • If we are unable to meet this guideline, a member of our sales team will contact you with an updated shipping timeline.
  • We do not offer discounts or refunds for delayed shipments, but we will always keep you informed on the status of your order.

Delivery & Pick-Up Options

We offer three shipping and pick-up options to best suit your needs:

1) Pick-Up In-Store

  • Orders can be picked up at our Dartmouth location: 85 Gloria McCluskey Ave, Dartmouth, NS B3B 2Z3, Canada
  • Pick-ups are available during our business hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Atlantic Time.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for pick-up.
  • There is no charge for Pick-up In-Store

2) Standard Courier

  • The shipping fee is calculated at checkout based on your order details.
  • Metals 'R' Us handles courier selection and shipping/payment process.
  • While customers may select a preferred courier or shipping option at checkout, Metals 'R' Us reserves the right to substitute an alternative courier where comparable service levels are provided and overall shipping costs can be optimized.

3) Cash on Delivery (COD) - Customer-Arranged Shipping

  • If you have an existing courier arrangement with our team and have already set-up your online account, you may see "Cash on Delivery" (COD) as a shipping option at checkout.
  • By selecting COD, you acknowledge that:
    • Metals 'R' Us does NOT collect shipping fees.
    • Your organization is responsible for paying the courier directly upon delivery.
    • The order will be shipped using the courier service you have set up with us.
  • To set up your COD service, please contact us.

Additional Shipping Information

  • We currently only ship within Canada.
    • We ship across the country
  • Delivery times may vary based on location and courier availability.
