How do I write the list?
One line per piece: the material, the size, and how many. Something like "6061 flat bar, 1/4 in x 2 in, cut to 18 in, qty 6." If you're not sure of the exact spec, describe the job and we'll help you land it.
What sizes can you cut?
Online orders run to 96 in per piece, cut to +/- 1/8 in. We cut up to 21 ft by quote. For thick plate and heavy sizes we quote the cut, so send the list and we'll confirm price and lead time.
Do cuts cost extra?
No. Cuts are free, and there's no per-piece minimum. The $40 order minimum is on the order as a whole, which most cut lists clear easily.
How long does a quote take?
We aim to get your price back within 1 to 2 business days. If we need to bring in stock, it can take a little longer, and we'll tell you the lead time up front. Firm quotes hold 14 days.
